Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers proudly announce new staff & leadership succession

Team President Garnet Gramlich finished his term as Klipper’s President effective as of the June 2016 Annual General Meeting.  Coming on board as the new President is long time executive member and former Klipper’s player Brett Sautner. Assuming the Vice-President role is Clint Petersen.

“Garnet’s contributions to the club are immeasurable”, noted Klippers GM/Head Coach Geoff Grimwood. “He was a tireless fundraiser, always a positive and measured voice, and steered the club through some challenging times. It would also be impossible to not also mention the dedication his wife Doreen has shown to the club through countless hours of volunteering.”

Although Garnet and Doreen are going to enjoy some well deserved time off from formal duties with the hockey club, Klipper supporters can still expect to see them around the rink. “We don’t plan on letting them get too far, says Grimwood.  They are still valuable members of the organization and we hope they stay involved as much as they can”.

The highlight of Gramlich’s time as President was the Hosting of the 2014 World Junior A Challenge, a success both on and off the ice.
