Reminder to Dispose of Garbage and Recycling Properly

A reminder to residents that any garbage that does not fit in your grey bins at home or red bins at your business goes to the Western Regional Landfill.

Please remember that garbage that is not disposed of properly can harm the wildlife or plant life in the area if the wind takes it away from the fenced area. Rodents also find mattresses are a great place to live.

If you are found to be dumping garbage illegally, you can be charged a fine as per the town’s bylaw.
