Klippers Tailgate Party Great Success
On Friday, September 16, the Kindersley Jr. Klippers home opener was held with a special tailgate party happening before hand with all proceeds going to the Wilmer Gonzalez family. In total the event raised approximately $4,500.00!
The organizers of the tailgate party, gave a special thank you to the 300 plus people who came out to support the Jr. Klippers team and the Gonzalez family.
They gave a special thank you to Kindersley Minor Hockey and the Kindersley Skating Club for organizing everything, the Kindersley Sr. Klippers team for running the beer gardens, and the KMS board members who volunteered.
They also thank members from all their associations who volunteered, showed up for their shift and those that stayed late to help.
A special mention was also given to the following people:
- Mark and Sherry Warner and The Red Lion who brought their cooler trailer for tonight’s event and then picked it up after!
- Jody Deanna with Eat Your Heart Out Catering for the condiments, pickled onions, napkins and more!!
- The Jr Klippers who donated their “tip jar” from the beer gardens that was set up for Gonzalez family
-The Town of Kindersley, for their sponsorship tonight and to the rink staff who helped with set up and clean up - and Kimmer, who grabbed stuff for us and is always willing to help us out.
