Springwater Colony Student Regional Winner in National Poster Contest.

Lizbeth Stahl, a Grade 6 student at Springwater Colony School is the Prairie Regional Winner of the 2023 Canadian Public Health Grade 6 Art Contest. She won for her design of a poster warning about the dangers of E. Coli.

The Canadian Public Health Association’s poster contest is an opportunity for Grade 6 students from across Canada to learn more about climate sensitive infectious diseases like Lyme disease, E. Coli and West Nile virus and share awareness and prevention information with their friends, family and communities.

Her school and community are very proud of Lizbeth for receiving this national recognition. She has also received a set of 3D pens and an Indigo gift card as part of the recognition for the award. The contest was open to all grade 6 students in Canada. “We are very proud of Lizbeth,” stated her teacher Tanya Lehnert, “and are very happy to see her recognized for her excellent work.”
