Rosetown RCMP Receive Report of Suspicious Vehicle

In addition to the calls below, there were 68 Traffic related charges issued, 1 911 miss-dial call and 2 false alarm calls.

January 25, 2024

10:30 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an individual failing to comply with an order. A 48-year-old male from Rosetown was arrested for failing to comply with undertaking condition and released for court.

January 26, 2024

1:41 PM – Kyle RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle near Lacadena, SK. Members patrolled the area but were unable to find any suspicious activity.
2:48 PM – Kyle RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle near Highway 42. Members located the vehicle; it was off the highway and not obstructing traffic.

January 27, 2024

6:15 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a possible suicidal male in Harris, SK. Members attended and transported a 22-year-old male to Rosetown Hospital for assessment.
2:55 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a request for a wellbeing check in Rosetown, SK. Members spoke to the subject of the complaint.
9:18 PM – Kyle RCMP received a complaint of a vehicle stuck in the ditch on Highway 4 near Rosetown, SK. Members located the vehicle; there were no injuries.

January 28, 2024

9:41 AM – Kyle RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 4. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.

January 29, 2024

2:20 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 4. Members located the vehicle and gave the driver a verbal warning.
7:24 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of uttering threats. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.

January 30, 2024

2:51 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. Members located the vehicle; there were no concerns with the vehicle.
8:30 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a dog complaint in Harris, SK. The matter is still under investigation.
3:30 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision near Rosetown, SK. There were no injuries – reported for insurance purposes.
11:51 PM – Rosetown RCMP acted as mediators in a family dispute in Kyle, SK.

January 31, 2024

3:41 PM – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision in Rosetown, SK. There were no injuries – reported for insurance purposes.

February 1, 2024

9:35 AM – Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on highway 4 near McGee, SK. Members located the vehicle and issued the driver a warning.
4:00 PM – Kyle RCMP received a report of the sudden death of an 89-year-old male from Kyle, SK. The death was not suspicious in nature.
