Donations Urgently Needed for KAWS

On Monday, October 18th, two kittens came into KAWS’ care in horrible condition. Bad ear mites, and what was assume a URI. They were also severely malnourished. At only around 6 weeks old, the kittens were fighting for their life. Sadly on Tuesday, it was announced that Copper had passed away with his little brother Todd following shortly behind him.

Although KAWS is currently on an intake freeze as they have no funds, they had a foster home open their doors so they were able to take the kittens in. In under 24 hrs, the community came together to raising over $1,000 in donations to help with the cost of caring for the kittens, however, KAWS still needs your help.

If you would like to donate, you can give:

  • Bottles: which can be dropped off and tagged for KAWS right at SARCAN or drop off on the driveway to 21 O’Connor crescent (White House) anytime.
  • Financial: cash and cheque donations can be made to KAWS at anytime.
  • Etransfer: anytime to kaws@live.ca
  • Donations via their Facebook donation link anytime!
  • Pet Valu gift cards
  • Add money to the KAWS vet tab at the Kindersley vet clinic.
  • Food and litter can be donated anytime to Kindersley Pet Valu or dropped off on the driveway to 21 O’Connor crescent (White House).

KAWS thanks everyone for their donation efforts.
