UPDATE: KFD Battles House Fire

On January 16, Kindersley fire was called to a structure fire at 12:10. For the call they dispatched two class A pumpers, utility, and CMD unit. On arrival, the crew discovered the fire had fully involved the attached garage, and extended to the house.

At 12:45, the fire was brought under control.

By 1:32pm the loss was stopped and by 4:57pm, all units were cleared for service.

“Crews were able to get the fire under control, in good time to stop any extension into the main structure. With weather conditions and other factors playing its role in this fire, water and freezing temperatures never mix well. Our firefighters train for endless hours for this type of incident and the many other types of calls we respond to, I’m very proud of our team for getting the job done,” shared FC Soveran.
