Single mother of 3 worries about losing home and income
Tonya O’Keefe worries she might lose her home and business if the Saskatchewan government ends rental assistance programs for co-operative housing.
O’Keefe has lived at Rainbow Housing Co-op in Saskatoon for 10 years.
Through a partnership with the province, some residents have subsidized rent and pay roughly 30 per cent of their income, rather than the usual full rental amount.
