Curvessence Delivers more than Apparel

What does it take for a woman to feel comfortable in her own body, or self-assured as she participates in the workplace, the family BBQ, or the classy dinner party?
According to Trina Koska, business owner of Curveessence Apparel, clothing can go a long way in boosting a woman’s morale. “If you are comfortable in what you wear, you are going to go out and do some damage today.”
Koska’s passion is to see women confident, not only in what they wear but also in themselves–this reason was one of her reasons in opening Curessense.
The boutique, located at 511 Main Street, reflects the bright animation Koska hopes to impart to her customers. Amethyst walls, attractively lined with winsome summer apparel, give a feeling of optimistic energy as soon as you step inside the door. In one corner, comfortable chairs sit around tall mirrors and change rooms; on the opposite end are purses, and the third corner boasts shoes and hats, inviting the customer to complete her outfit.
“Every woman should be able to dress with confidence,” says Koska. The shop’s collection, starting at size 14 and ranging in styles from comfy to classy, supports her mission. Some of her brands include Parsley and Sage, Silver Jeans, Diane Kennedy, Pretty Women and Artex.
Koska has 23 years of business experience and has worked in sales with Kindersley’s Energy Dodge, but owning a small business was always a dream of hers.
Since opening on May 19th, Curessense has been well supported by the community, even in the face of COVID-19. Koska has also launched a website, curvessence.ca, to serve those in our community who are remaining at home for health reasons.
“This store is designed to give women in the area an option to shop locally and with confidence,” says Koska.
