Jackie’s Delicious Delights Is Hosting Free Christmas Day Dinner

Jackie Oswald of Jackie’s Delicious Delights located between Kindersley and Eston is cooking up something amazing for Christmas Day, and anyone who many not have loved ones close by or is in need of a hand up are invited.

Showing what the true meaning of the holiday spirit is, Oswald is hosting a free Christmas Day dinner from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Kindersley Royal Legion Hall, located at 118 2nd Avenue East.

“Our son and daughter, Andrew and Kristin Schmidt approached my husband and me with the idea about doing this. We agreed immediately and started planning! This is a first for us, so we are both excited and nervous since we are not sure what to expect! But what we really want is for everyone to enjoy a great turkey dinner with all the trimmings!”

Having been in the catering business for four and a half years, 4.5 years, Jackie knows a thing or two about cooking, so the dinner is sure to be amazing!

Those wishing to join in are welcome to turn up on the day, but preorders are appreciated as this helps Oswald know numbers and to prepare. Take-out delivery is also an option for those unable to attend.
