Kindersley Composite High School Looks to Participate in 2020 Terry Fox Run

By Mallorie Rast

This weekend, hundreds of Canadians will be running the 40th annual Terry Fox run in a new and unique way, and the Kindersley Composite High School will also be participating.

In a determined message, the Terry Fox Foundation proclaimed that “cancer research cannot wait for COVID-19 to be over” and thus have built a virtual event, asking participants to substitute gathering in person by gathering in spirit.

September 20th is the 40th Anniversary of the Terry Fox Run and individuals will be running to raise both funds and awareness for cancer research. “We are proudly committed to raising much-needed funds for cancer research,” said the Kindersley High School on its donation page. To support our local fundraising team, please visit the Terry Fox Foundation and search for the Kindersley Composite High School under “Donate to a Student or School.”
