The Kindersley Chamber of Commerce has successfully reached their goal of raising $7,500 so the roof on the new West Central Healing Centre could be papered and shingled.</em
Local businesses and people from the area donated what they could towards the centre, raising the funds in just under two weeks.

Due to financial pressures triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and fallout pressures, the new building needed to be put on construction hold, however, the recent injection from the Chamber’s campaign will help further the building’s progress.

The building, which is the first of four will serve as the Operational Hub and Family Programming Centre, with space for emergency beds for children.

Kindersley’s Crisis Centre is the hub for more than 30,000 residents in West Central Saskatchewan and new services are expected to be announced in the coming month.
