Rosetown RCMP Calls of Service for November 6 to November 12, 2020.  

Here is your Rosetown RCMP report from November 6th – 12th…

On November 6th at 1550hrs, Rosetown RCMP were called to assist an individual who was stuck on the roof after his ladder had fallen. Members attended and provided assistance to help the individual off the roof. 

November 7th  at 0505hrs saw Rosetown RCMP with a call from Rosetown EMS for assistance. Members  attended and assisted the EMS. Nothing further was required.  At 1055hrs, they received a report of the theft of a peacock lawn ornament from a  Rosetown residence. If anyone has any information in regards to this theft, please contact the local  detachment. At 1415hrs  a request for a wellbeing check was called in. Members attended and  no further action was required. 

At 0327hrs on November 9th, Rosetown RCMP received a report of a sudden death of an elderly male at a Care  Home in Rosetown. Members attended as there was no doctor available at the time. There was nothing suspicious and nothing further was required. At 1107hrs, RCMP received a report of a snow plow roll over near Dinsmore, SK. The matter is still under investigation.

Rosetown RCMP received a report of a shop fire/explosion near Wartime, SK, on November 10th at 1646hrs. The  Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire and there were no injuries. Investigation revealed a natural  gas pipe was damaged during snow removal, there were no charges issued. At 2046hrs, RCMP received a request for EMS assistance. Members attended and  remained until EMS was able to transport the male to the hospital for observation. 

On November 12th at 1030hrs, Rosetown RCMP provided assistance to stop traffic on Highway #4 while cattle crossed the highway. At 1037hrs a report of a collision with a vehicle and a stop sign was received. The  matter is still under investigation. 

In addition to these calls, there were five traffic related charges issued and one 911 misdialed call.
