Rosetown RCMP Report from October 16th to 22nd

October 17th at 0806hrs Rosetown RCMP while on patrol stopped a male driver towing a flat deck trailer without any taillights on Highway 7. Trailer was parked until repairs could be completed.

October 19th at 1239hrs Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle in Harris, SK. Members were able to locate the vehicle and no further action was required.
At 1735hrs a report was received of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Rosetown,
SK. The vehicle was located. There was insufficient evidence to pursue charges. At 1820hrs, RCMP received a report that a dog had killed a neighbour’s dog in Elrose,
SK. The dog was apprehended as it was considered a dangerous animal after the attack. The matter is still under investigation. A male on house arrest missed his curfew at 2340hrs, members attended and the male was home but indicated he missed the call. The male was warned to make sure he was attentive to the curfew check phone calls.

October 20th at 1333hrs Rosetown RCMP received a report of an individual parked in a disability parking space. Members attended and the individual was warned and the vehicle was moved. At 1914hrs, members attended an alarm call at a Rosetown business. There was a cleaner in the building,and  there was nothing suspicious it was a false alarm.

October 21st 0915 hrs Rosetown RCMP served a Subpoena to an individual in the detachment area at the request of another police service. At 1315 hrs a report was recieved of mischief near Wiseton, SK. There was insufficient evidence to proceed. At 1403 hrs – Rosetown RCMP served a Summons to two individuals in the detachment area at the request of a Government Agency. At 1439hrs An assault was reported in Rosetown, SK. The matter is under investigation. At 1855hrs A vehicle collision with a deer on Highway 7 near Harris, SK, was reported. There were no injuries and no charges issued.

October 22nd at 0051hrs Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious person in Elrose, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 1017hrs a report of a break and enter into a home was reported in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation. At 1042hrs A report of mischief in Rosetown, SK was recieved. The matter is still under investigation.
