Description:
Sun West School Division invites applications for an IT Technician in the Sun West School Division, Rosetown, SK. This is a permanent position, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the performance of technology functions to support the educational and business operations of the school division.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot IT hardware on-site
Determine if warranty and/or repairs are required and performs the necessary repairs.
Assist in the operation and maintenance of computers and networks in schools and division work sites.
Provides support to staff for their use of technology as required.
In addition to a respectful and friendly demeanor when dealing with clients and co-workers, the successful applicant will possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities obtained through successful completion of post-secondary training in Information Technology from a provincially recognized institution, in addition to experience providing support for the setup and maintenance of computer servers and related systems. The successful candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle to travel to schools within Sun West School Division.
Wage Rate: $25.17 to $28.24 per hour
