October of last year Kenna had a seizure and was taken to hospital where she was diagnosed with Epilepsy. In February, months later after more testing, seizures, medication trials and extended hospital stays she was diagnosed with POLG Mitochondrial Mutation. A devastating genetic disease, to which there is no cure for.
After months of hospital stays and very limited visitation due to COVID-19 precautions in the hospitals, Davin and Tarren decided to move Kenna home to be more comfortable and to allow her grandparents, friends and family to see her.
