Calls for service for the week ending April 21st, 2019.

SUI – Still Under Investigation
Criminal Code –
- ASSAULT x 2 – Dodsland – received 2 calls of assault. Investigation revealed no assault had taken place.
- BREAK & ENTER x 3 – Kerrobert – business broken into with vehicle, cigarettes and energy drinks reported stolen, SUI; RM of Snipe Lake – report of a building at the Regional Park being broken into, SUI; RM of Snipe Lake – report of a black SUV with tire on the back entering a farmyard. Vehicle took off when dog approached it, SUI
- CRIMINAL HARASSMENT – Kindersley – complaint of 2 youth harassing each other. Both spoken to by police. No charges laid at this time.
- FAIL TO COMPLY WITH CONDITION OF UNDERTAKING x 2 – Kerrobert, SUI; RM of Milton – one female charged as a result of not being at home during curfew check
- FRAUD x 2 – RM of Heart’s Hill – report of a fraud regarding the purchase of an item. Investigation revealed the matter to be civil; Eston – report of credit card being used for online purchases by unauthorized person, SUI
- MISCHIEF x 3 – Kindersley – 2 youth charged with Mischief after investigation of starting a fire in a bushy area; Kindersley – report of a truck having eggs thrown at it and pieces of a fence missing, no charges laid at this time; Kindersley – report of 2 cans of paint being thrown on a gravel driveway, no charges laid at this time; Kindersley – report of a female receiving phone calls from unknown number and nothing being said, no charges laid at this time.
- THEFT UNDER $5000 x 4 – Beadle – report of home entered and food items taken, SUI; RM of Kindersley – report of tool taken from a Quonset some time in the last month, no charges laid at this time; Kindersley – report of a hose taken from a business. Suspect located and hose was returned. No charges laid at this time; Netherhill – report of tenants moving out and taking all the furnishings belonging to landlord, SUI
- THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE – Kindersley – report of owner’s manual taken from a vehicle. No charges laid at this time.
- UTTER THREATS – Kindersley – people being disruptive in a business were asked to leave, at which time one of them was reported to utter a threat to the manager. Police attended, people not located.

- INTERSECTION OFFENCES x 3 – Kindersley – 3 tickets issued
- SPEEDING x 19 – Kindersley, Eston, RM of Newcombe, RM of Milton, RM of Kindersley, RM of Progress, RM of Oakdale, RM of Mariposa – 14 tickets issued, 5 warnings issued
- OTHER NON-MOVING TRAFFIC x 3 – Major, Kindersley – 2 tickets issued, one warning issued

- REPORT OF ERRATIC DRIVING x 5 – RM of Kindersley, Kindersley – no charges laid
- SUSPICIOUS PERSON/VEHICLE x 10 – Kindersley – male walking around the neighborhood. Male located, nothing criminal in nature; Kindersley – report of tenant having a lot of people coming and going, SUI; Kindersley – report of vehicle outside of building, running, with lights on. Vehicle located, driver was planning on sleeping in the car; RM of Heart’s Hill – van with Alberta plates entered farm yard. When homeowner went outside, van took off, no charges laid at this time; RM of Chesterfield – report of a truck in farmyard late at night. Police attended, vehicle not located; RM of Oakdale – report of a truck idling near a farmyard. Truck located. Driver was tired and had pulled over to sleep; Kindersley – report of lights shining into a window of a residence. Police attended and no one was located on the property; Kindersley – report of a male, carrying a black bag, walking around behind businesses. Patrols made, person not located; Kindersley – report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of a commercial dwelling unit. Police located vehicle with two people in it. They had no where to go and were sleeping in the vehicle for the night; RM of Kindersley – report of male walking on the highway, in the dark. Male located and advised he was hitchhiking to Calgary after his motorcycle broke down;
- MUNICIPAL BYLAWS x 2 – Dodsland, noise complaint – no charges laid at this time; Kindersley – report of bonfire with fire ban in effect. Fire was out when police attended. Warning issued.
- TRESPASS ACT – Kindersley – female charged after entering a business she was previously banned from
