Austin Calladine of the Kindersley Klippers is the Finning Division’s Player Of The Year for the 2015-2016 season. The Klippers weren’t one of the league’s highest scoring teams, but Calladine’s consistency all season long has him in the SJHL’s top five leading scorers, with 73-points through 55-games. The former Flin Flon Bomber fit right in with the likes of fellow newcomers Dexter Bricker and Daniell Lange this season. The 20-year-old from Saskatoon heated up in the middle of the season with 33-points in 21-games in December and January.

Head Coach Geoff Grimwood commented, “Austin is certainty deserving of this nomination. He has been a leader from the beginning and one of the top performers every week with a tremendous work ethic at both ends of the ice” The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers would like to extend congratulations to all of this season’s nominees and thank the SJHL and RBC for the recognition of such a hard-working member of our team.
