It is important to get things in order for your dog so they can have a safe, warm environment for the cold season ahead. If the dog is strictly an outside dog there must be a warm, heated dog house-free from the wind and snow-ensuring that food and water also do not freeze. Always be aware of how your dog is responding to the cold.
For the inside dog, a fresh grooming to give a longer cut for warmth will be most helpful. Keep in mind that a complete set of vaccinations including kennel cough vaccine helps to ensure your dog is healthy and well-protected. Using jackets for dogs is extremely practical.
