If Regina wins bid, Wascana Country Club would host event

The City of Regina has voted to throw its support behind a bid to host an LPGA event in a few years time. It plans to bid $100,000 to host the 2018 Canadian Pacific Women’s Open golf tournament.

City council voted on the matter Tuesday evening.
