PDRA Touring Series Returns to Flatlanders Speedway August 16–17

Flatlanders Speedway is gearing up for a big weekend as the PDRA (Prairie Dirt Racing Association) Touring Series is rolling into town August 16–17. Known for bringing some of the fastest cars in the region, the series promises two days packed with side-by-side racing and a full lineup of classes.

The modifieds will be back on track, giving local drivers the chance to take on PDRA’s top drivers. The PDRA cars in the modified division will also have the opportunity to race their way into the PDRA 777 Dash for Cash, presented by the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA). The SIGA’s popular Dice Roll is also returning!

The Flatlanders Legends are back, bringing their old-school hotrods to the track for the full weekend. These classics are a crowd favourite and a key part of what makes the PDRA weekend one of the best in the local racing calendar.

Also returning is the Run Your Junk division. It’s Flatlanders’ entry-level class, known for unpredictable moments!

Flatlanders has seen a strong crop of rookies in 2025, with new drivers stepping into every division. One group getting particular attention is the KidMods, a rookie class for both Flatlanders Speedway and the PDRA this year. The young drivers in the KidMods Class of ’25 so far, includes:

  • Leland Ellis
  • Leland Gale
  • Charlee Carrier
  • Leni Carrier

Alongside the modifieds, Legends, Run Your Junk, and KidMods, fans can also expect street stocks, hobbies, and more. Admission is just $10, and with the number of divisions running, it’s two full days of racing.
