In their weekly local report, Rosetown RCMP shared there were 63 traffic related charges issued, three 911 miss dial calls and three false alarm calls.
October 8th:
At 9:05am – Rosetown RCMP received a request for a wellbeing check. Members spoke to the subject of complaint. At 2:04pm– RCMP received a found wallet. Wallet was returned to the owner.
October 9th:
At 10:38pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries – reported for insurance purposes.
October 10th:
At 7:35am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a missing person. The missing person was found and nothing further was required. At 12:40pm – RCMP received a report of a sudden death. Members attended along with Rosetown EMS. EMS determined it was not a sudden death and transported the individual to the hospital for assessment. At 7:47pm RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries – reported for insurance purposes.
October 11th:
At 10:12am– Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
October 12th:
At 11:37pm – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision. A tire from a truck fell off and collided with the vehicle behind causing the driver to end up in the ditch. There were no injuries.
October 13th:
At 3:04am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a garage fire in Herschel, SK. There were no injuries and the fire was not suspicious in nature. At 8:00am – RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle on Highway 15 near Sovereign, SK. Members patrolled the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. At 3:09pm – RCMP received a report of graffiti on a shed in Rosetown, SK. There was insufficient evidence to proceed. Reported for information purposes. At 3:43pm – RCMP received a found wallet. Wallet was returned to the owner. At 5:39pm– Rosetown RCMP received a report of theft of keys and wallet from a vehicle in Rosetown, SK. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.
October 14th:
At 11:54am – Rosetown RCMP received a report of theft of lights from the front yard of a Rosetown residence. The matter is still under investigation.
