Students in Kindersley got a dose of reality this morning with their participation in the annual Prevent Alcohol and Risk Related Trauma Youth (PARTY) program. The program presents students with an eye opening experience that talks about the consequences of not making smart choices when getting behind the wheel and choosing to drive. It walks the spectators though what happens at the scene of a collision. Cst. Hill from the Eston RCMP Detachment did an excellent job presenting to the students and explaining to them what was happening through the entire ordeal. Thanks to the emergency services, volunteers and actors for making this happen today, it was very well done!
Thanks to the Kindersley Fire Department for posting this video of the Mock Incident:
The video is a MOCK INCIDENT performed by RCMP, Heartland Health (Kindersley EMS), Kindersley Funeral Home and Kindersley Fire/Rescue in participation with SunWest School Division. Students from Kindersley and surrounding area took part in the annual PARTY Program. (Prevention of Alcohol& Drug Related Trauma in Youth.
