Saskatchewan farmers have put more than half of this year’s crop in the ground.
The latest provincial crop report shows 51 per cent of the crop is now seeded, well ahead of the five-year average of 28 per cent for this time of year.
The province says some producers have wrapped up seeding, while others will need another couple weeks of warm, dry weather.
