University of Saskatchewan Huskie men’s volleyball setters CJ Gavlas and Derek Epp have been named to the Volleyball Canada Junior national team that will look to secure the nation a spot in the World Junior Championship.
The Junior National team will train in Gatineau, Quebec to prepare for the U21 NORCECA Continental Championship from July 5-10. The event, hosted in Gatineau, will serve as a qualification for the 2017 U21 Men’s World Junior Championship. Canada will look to secure one of two spots at the World Championship through the event for the fifth time in a row.
