You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but we all do.

That’s why covering the book in brown paper is such a great idea, it forces you out of your reading comfort zone. You only have a small description included on the front as to what you are buying (or borrowing from the library). Who knows, you may discover you actually like the genre you have been avoiding your whole reading life.
