On Thursday August 4th, 2016 at approximately 4:06 p.m. Kindersley RCMP received a 911 call of a two vehicle collision, a Semi truck and trailer Vs. Car at the intersection of Highway 7 and Ditson Drive in Kindersley.
The car carrying 3 occupants proceeded through the intersection heading north bound on Ditson Drive and collided with the trailer of a semi heading west bound on Highway 7. Kindersley Fire and EMS also attended the scene.
An investigation into the collision revealed that at time of this collision the Traffic lights at the intersection were damaged from an earlier unrelated occurrence and were not properly functioning, the lights on Highway 7 heading East and West were flashing yellow and the lights on Ditson Drive heading North and South were flashing red.
Two passengers from the car were transported to hospital with minor injuries. No charges were laid.
