Calgary-based TransCanada Corp. will stress its commitment to safety and concerns for the environment as the National Energy Board begins its public hearings into the proposed Energy East pipeline project.
The hearings before a three-member panel begin in Saint John, where the crude oil that would be shipped through the proposed 4,500-kilometre, $15.7-billion project would be refined.
