A Winnipeg woman says she’s out more than $4,000 after a street light unexpectedly smashed onto her car, shattering her windshield and forcing her to buy a new car.
Michelle Korolyk says the City of Winnipeg and her insurance company have both refused to help cover the bill for the mysterious accident.
“If I broke something of the city’s, guaranteed they’d give me a bill. Why can’t they do the same?” she told CTV Winnipeg.
