The SJHL Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers got an unbelievable performance from rookie goalie #31 Branden Bilodeau in his 1st start as a Klipper & SJHL debut facing 43 shots enroute to a 2-1 win over the visiting Humboldt Broncos.
Kindersley was horribly outshot 43-17 but still managed to pick up their 3rd win in a row at home before 612 home town fans.
The Klippers got only 4 shots on goal in the 1st period while the Broncos fired 14 at the 18 yr old Kindersley netminder acquired late last week from Red Deer, AB where he was playing Jr. B hockey with the Red Deer Vipers. Both teams however were not able to turn on the red light & the scoreboard read 0-0 after 1.
