UPDATE – 3:00PM
At approximately 11:40 am on Monday September 19th, 2016, Rosetown RCMP received a 911 phone call of 3 armed masked suspects who approached a victim driving on a grid road South of Highway 7 near Fiske, Saskatchewan.
The 3 suspects approached the victim on foot with what was described as three hand guns. The victim immediately left the scene in their vehicle but was able to witness the suspects get into an older style Black SUV.
The three suspects have been described as 3 unknown person (s) each wearing balaclavas covering half of their faces. One suspect was described as having a long dark ponytail and a second suspect was described as having orange curly hair.
Rosetown, Kindersley, Eston, Kerrobert, Unity, Biggar, Swift Current Rural and North Battleford Rural RCMP Detachments as well as Swift Current PDS and volunteers flying in planes responded to the call in the search for the suspects and suspect vehicle.
All schools in rural areas were placed on a hold and secure for precautionary measures but as of 3:00 pm September 19th, 2016, has been lifted.
The investigation is ongoing and the RCMP asks that anyone with any information call their local RCMP Detachment and if you see the suspects to call 911 and not approach them.
UPDATE – 12:50PM
RCMP have received new information that the suspect vehicle is possibly an older style Black SUV.
One of the masked suspects has been described as having a long pony tail and another possible masked suspect is described as having curly hair.
Kindersley, Rosetown, Unity, Biggar, Swift Current Rural Detachments as well as Police Dog Services and Volunteer Planes are currently searching for the suspects.
RCMP ask that anyone who sees a vehicle or suspects matching the description to call 911 immediately.

At approximately 11:40 am South of Highway 7 near Fiske three unknown suspects wearing black masks approached a victim working on a local farm; each suspect was carrying a hand gun.
One of the suspects is described to have a long pony tail. The suspect vehicle is described as a black SUV, unknown plate.
RCMP ask that if you see the suspects you do not approach them and to call 911 immediately.
Kindersley, Rosetown, Biggar, Unity and Kyle RCMP are currently searching for the suspect vehicle.
