Pallet-Inspired Coat Rack

Anyone who has been to my apartment knows I have a slight obsession with wooden pallets. I can’t help it. I just love the rustic feel of them; I think they can make great sturdy décor pieces. Last fall, I made my coffee table and dining room table using pallets, so I decided, why not make this quick and easy coat rack to go along with the rest of my collection?

Materials you’ll need:

-Wooden Pallet that you can repurpose (or scrap wood works just as well)

-Hooks

-Screws

-Drill

I was lucky enough to have some scrap wood laying around so I didn’t need to buy much for this project. After picking up my hooks and screws at my local independent hardware store, I got to work. The first thing you’ll need to do is cut your wood (if needed) and lay out the pieces the way you’d like. I personally like my designs to be more random and not so symmetrical, but you can place them however you’d like.
