Sask. harvest barely advances thanks to rain, snow

Only 81% of crop in the bin, Saskatchewan government says

Recent rain and snow has brought the Saskatchewan harvest to a virtual standstill, with only 81 per cent combined, according to the province’s weekly crop report.

Compared to the five-year average for this time of year — 93 per cent — the harvest is well behind schedule.
