Kindersley, Eston, Kerrobert RCMP Daily Report – Weekend Edition
Friday October 28, 2026 6:00 a.m. – Monday October 31, 2016 6:00 a.m.
RCMP responded to 31 calls for service in Town of Kindersley, RM of Kindersley, Town of Eatonia, Town of Eston, Town of Kerrobert, RM of Mariposa, Laporte.
A few examples of calls for service over the weekend were:
One young driver is facing a charge of operate a vehicle at a speed greater than 35KM over the applicable speed limit section 199(2.1) of the Traffic Safety Act. The driver is now facing a fine of $364.00. This occurred within Town of Kindersley limits.
Three other youth were charged under the Traffic Safety Act this weekend. Charges were for operate an unregistered motor vehicle ($580.00 fine), exceed the posted speed limit of 94 km/hr within town limits and a speed limit of 60 km/hr ($188.00 fine) and windshield with unlawful sun screen, tint was across the bottom of the windshield prohibiting the driver from having a clear view ($115.00 fine).
Two roadside suspensions given for two unlucky drivers who chose to drink and drive. Both drivers given a 72 hour suspensions.
Alarm call to a business in Eatonia. Upon arrival it was noted the glass door to the entrance of the business was damaged, a few items reported stolen including bottles of alcohol. File remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP
Call of a suspicious female in a white ford truck pulling a stock trailer. Female was seen looking through a vehicle and had provided two different stories to witnesses. At the time of the call RCMP were unable to intercept as a more urgent call was taking place. Statements taken, no plate number but file will remain under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP.
Two calls of a female on highway 21 wandering through a field barefoot. RCMP located the individual. Ambulance was declined and was provided a ride home to a family member.
A 50 year old male was arrested and charged for failure to comply with conditions of his undertaking. The 50 year old male was remanded and will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Tuesday November 1st, 2016.
