Mayor Rod Perkins has proclaimed the week of October 8-14, 2017 as Fire Prevention Week in Kindersley.
The proclamation recognizes Council’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all those within Kindersley as well as the dedication of the Kindersley Fire Department in its fire and emergency response within Kindersley and the surrounding region.
The theme of the 2017 Fire Prevention Week is “Every second counts: plan two ways out!” which aims to educate the public about the vital importance of involving every member of the household in developing a home fire escape plan and practicing it twice a year.
