The Source for Sports Pee Wee Falcons returned to league play this weekend with a couple of home games. First off was a match against the top team in the south division Rosetown redwings. The Redwings got up by two goals in the first ten minutes with a pair by Mitchell Robbie as he showed why he is one of the top scorers in the league. The Falcons got on the board before the end of the period with a goal by call up Pryce Thiessen who delivered a hard shot low glove side. It was a tightly fought game and the Falcons found themselves down by 2 with 10 minutes left in the game before John Allen scored to bring them within one. Keirin Wagner would get the eventual game tying goal 30 seconds later as the Falcons come back from a deficit to leave the game tied 3-3.

Sunday night the Falcons hosted the Eston 2 team and things got off to a quick start for the Falcons when Levi Krahn carried it across the blue line and let a hard wrist shot go that beat the Eston goalie 30 seconds in. From a faceoff in Eston’s zone Jace Reichert won it back to Calvin Feader who ripped a high hard shot past the goalie in a textbook play to take the lead 2-0. The scoring continued in the second period for the Falcons with Paige Preston’s hard work in front of the net paying off with a goal just minutes into the period. The falcons would add 5 more including 2 by Rhett Dimitroff to take the lead 8-1 into the intermission. Seth Klein was determined to get in on the scoring and did just that 5 minutes into the period and Calvin Feader potted another giving the Falcons a 10-1 victory.
