Extreme cold warning for R.M. of Kindersley including Kindersley Brock and Flaxcombe, R.M. of Oakdale including Coleville, R.M. of Progress including Kerrobert and Luseland, R.M. of Snipe Lake including Eston and Plato, R.M. of Chesterfield including Eatonia and Mantario
Environment Canada has issued a blowing snow advisory as arctic winds bring gusty winds and blowing snow this Valentine’s morning. The weather advisory warns that visibility could drop very quickly. The low visibility is expected to last for a few hours before improving as the winds abate. Cold air is expected to arrive shortly after.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
Highway hotline has reported icy or slippery sections, packed snow along with swirling snow in the Kindersley area, Please drive with caution.
