Klippers Head Coach Resigns

Early this afternoon, the Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers announced that their head coach Geoff Grimwood resigned his position.

In the media release by the Klippers, Grimwood said he decided to resign for family reasons. “I have enjoyed my time in the SJHL, but for family reasons have decided to return home to B.C. for the time being.”

Geoff Grimwood has been with the Klippers since 2015, and leaves behind him at three seasons of memories. The Klippers organization wished Grimwood well in his future endeavours, and thanked Grimwood for his years of service.

Grimwood had thanks of his own in his farewell speech, and promised to keep the Klippers close to his heart. “I would like to thank the Klippers entire organization, board, fans, sponsors, staff and in particular the players. I am and will continue to be a big supporter of the Klippers and the SJHL going forward and wish both of them nothing but success.”
