Safety Tips for a Fun and Safe Halloween

  • Stay in groups
  • Costumes should be will fitting (to avoid tripping) and flame resistant
  • Make sure your child can see clearly for traffic if wearing mask or hat
  • Dress for the weather!
  • Always test makeup
  • Remind your child to look both ways before crossing the street
  • Examine all treats before eating. Avoid anything with ripped wrappers or pinholes
  • Stay on sidewalks when possible
  • Avoid dark houses
  • Take flashlights and glow-sticks or reflector patches for visibility
  • Remember, enjoy with caution!

Please Drive With Caution! 

Motorists, please remember to decrease your speed and watch out for children crossing the street. Exit or enter your driveways and alleys slowly and with caution.

Remember, a safe Halloween is a happy Halloween.
