Safety Tips for a Fun and Safe Halloween
- Stay in groups
- Costumes should be will fitting (to avoid tripping) and flame resistant
- Make sure your child can see clearly for traffic if wearing mask or hat
- Dress for the weather!
- Always test makeup
- Remind your child to look both ways before crossing the street
- Examine all treats before eating. Avoid anything with ripped wrappers or pinholes
- Stay on sidewalks when possible
- Avoid dark houses
- Take flashlights and glow-sticks or reflector patches for visibility
- Remember, enjoy with caution!
