Affinity Senior Championships Begin Wednesday

North Battleford Hosts Men’s & Women’s Competition

The Cathy Inglis foursome returns intact to defend their 2015 title while the defending Men’s champions have made one change in their lineup where Brad Law has taken over the team at the Skip position and Ray Krupski is the new third man.

Eight Men’s and eight Women’s teams start their 7 game round robin on Wednesday at the Twin Rivers Curling club. The top 3 teams will advance to the playoffs on Saturday. The championship will wrap up on Sunday, February 28th with the winners going on to represent Saskatchewan at the National Championships later in March in Digby, Nova Scotia.

Many familiar names and/or previous senior champions are on hand for this competition including teams skipped by Inglis, Joan McCusker, Sherry Anderson, Lorrain Arguin, Law, Gord Bell, Darrell McKee and Brad Heidt.
