As the hockey world continues to mourn the victims of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash, another Saskatchewan community is doing what it can to help ease the pain.
Rosetown is hosting the Allan Cup, the national senior men’s hockey championship, and for those involved it’s a welcome distraction in a world turned upside down.
Bethune Bulldogs defenceman Russell Nielsen played for the Broncos for three seasons, serving as the team’s captain in 2007-08, his final year with the team.
