Materials needed:
- Sock
- Rice
- Elastic bands
- Buttons
- Fabric Scrapes
- Felt
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun

Method:
1) Cut the sock just before the heel. (see video) We used the toe part of the sock for the body of our snowman.
2) Fill bottom part of sock with rice until it is full. Wrap elastic around the top of the sock to close.
3) Decide the size of head you would like to have and wrap an elastic band around the middle part of the snowman to create the head.
4) Decorate the snowman to your liking. You can use buttons down the front, and for his eyes. A piece of felt or a scrap of fabric can be cut for the nose of the snowman. a scrap of fabric can be cut and wrapped around his neck for a scarf. I used the left over piece of the sock as a toque. A hot glue gun works great for attaching the buttons and such.
