Beverly Cleary Turns 100!

Happy Birthday Beverly Cleary!

As if turning 100 years old wasn’t amazing enough, try adding in the fact that this amazing woman has sold over 91 million copies of her books. She’s a Library of Congress “Living Legend” award recipient, has received the National Medal of Arts award (in the Oval Office), is a Newbery Medal recipient, and she’s published more than 30 books before retiring — phew!

In celebration of her birthday new editions of Ramona Quimby, Age 8; The Mouse and the Motorcycle and Henry Huggins have been re-released with forwards by Amy Poehler, Kate DiCamillo and Judy Blume.
