Canada Day Celebrations Kick off in Kindersley

Sure looks to be a great start to the Canada 150 celebrations here in Kindersley.

Here in Baker Park, a photo booth, Bouncy Castles, Activity Tables, Cotton Candy, and Hot Dogs promise families of all ages an excellent opportunity to celebrate this momentous day in Canadian history.

The Kindersley Legion officially kicked off the Canada 150 celebrations here in Kindersley with a solemn Parade of the Colour Guard and Raising of the Flag.

Adele Sawatzky led the crowd in singing O Canada, as the Kindersley Cadets raised the Canadian Flag. While the balmy day and faint breezes didn’t allow the flag to completely unfurl, it was still a proud moment in the day’s festivities.
