Four people were rushed to hospital Thursday night after a car went the wrong way on Highway 1 and collided with a minivan.
It happened in the eastbound lanes about five kilometres east of Indian Head, Sask., at around 7:45 p.m. CST,
A STARS air ambulance was dispatched. Details about the injuries were not immediately available.
The eastbound lane of Highway 1, also known as the Trans-Canada, was closed around the crash scene.
RCMP said traffic was being diverted by sharing the westbound lane. Traffic was back to normal at around 10:35 p.m.
The collision is still under investigation. The Trans-Canada is a divided highway with a grassy median between eastbound and westbound lanes.
Indian Head is about 70 kilometres east of Regina.
