On Sunday October 22nd, 2017 at approximately 6:20 p.m Kindersley RCMP were called to a two vehicle collision on Highway 7 near Netherhill involving a semi and a small car.
After the initial investigation, it was determined that the semi was travelling East on Highway 7 and turning north onto a grid road. The 20 year old male driver of the small car attempted to overtake the semi in the passing lane and had collided into the semi while it was turning.
Non-life threatening injuries were reported and cause of the collision has been determined to be driver error.
Charges are currently pending but have not been laid at this time.
