While the summer sports moved into the spotlight, Kindersley’s dance students took a day on Saturday, May 13th, to brilliantly express themselves with their newly-found skills.
“It was an amazing experience,” commented Lindsay Boychuk, owner and instructor at Enlightened Dance Corp. “The kids worked hard all year and it was good to see them able to show their skill to their friends and family.”
With over 200 in attendance, Enlightened Dance Corp’s first annual recital was a testimony to the dazzling first year of operation. Starting at 11:00 a.m., the recital included solo and group performances, as well as guest jazz and tap performances from the Monday Night Book Club. At the end of the day, the recital wrapped up with a well-deserved BBQ and celebration.
