North Korea fired a missile early on Tuesday that flew over Japan and landed in the Pacific waters off the northern region of Hokkaido, South Korea and Japan said, in a sharp escalation of tensions on the Korean peninsula.
U.S. President Donald Trump warned North Korea Tuesday that “all options are on the table” after the secretive state launched yet another ballistic missile over Japan.
According to South Korean officials, North Korea’s latest missile test travelled about 2,700 kilometres and reached a maximum height of about 550 kilometres as it flew over the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido.
