Snowfall Warning for Kindersley Area

Old Man Winter gave Kindersley a visit this morning. A major low pressure system which brought cold wind, rain and ultimately snow is still tracking across the province. Environment Canada advises that due to the cold air, most of the precipitation today will be in the form of snow. A snowfall warning has been issued for the Kindersley area, with perhaps 5 to 10 cm of snow falling along with gusty northerly winds. The system is expected to taper off by Thursday.

Visibility will be reduced in some areas, and winter/slippery conditions exist on roads and streets. Kindersley RCMP advises all drivers to reduce their speed and to drive for the conditions.
