Extra Foods, located in the Kindersley Mall will close it’s doors by the end of this year.
The last day for customers and staff alike will be Saturday December 17th 2016 and while there have been rumours of a possible No-Frills store taking it’s place, Kindersley Social understands that this will not be the case.
With the nearby Liquor Board Store also set to close, the commercial landscape at the intersection of highways 7 and 21 could look very different by this time next year. The new Energy Dodge lot is full and with the confirmation of the arrival of Pet Valu, and a rumoured Little Caesers Pizza franchise, Kindersley’s East Crossing Mall is looking busier by the day.

The combined closures of Extra Foods and the Liquor Board store will result in the loss of numerous jobs in an already, unsteady economical climate.
Extra Foods/ Loblaws were unavailable for further comment at this point.
